NO KINGS Shoreline Washington
Shoreline, a city of 58,000 people 9 miles North of downtown Seattle hosted a NO KINGS rally on Saturday June 14th 2025. School children to senior Citizens on scooters and people from all walks of life showed up to wave signs and marched between 175th and 185th on Aurora Avenue North. Bodies and signs jammed the sidewalks and walking trails, a violinist played Mozart, the sun shined and motorists kept a continuous symphony of horns honking. Shoreline became a movable feast of resistance against the current Presidential administration, Mid block crossings were taken over by protesters who moved peacefully waving flags shouting this is a great day, Join Us! Get out of your cars, we are making a difference for two hours straight. A clown handed out free bumper stickers NO KINGS Since 1776 and Marine veterans carried signs reading We don’t take an oath to a King or Dictator.

A giant inflated Trump marched down the sidewalk with a sign “If people have 1 felony they can’t vote. I have 34 and run the country!
The event was part of over 2,000 NO KINGS events nationwide and organized locally by everyday activists. I spoke with Sandy, an organizer wearing a yellow vest who was happy with the turnout and had an app on her phone to estimate the crowd size. Everyday activists gather weekly on 205th and Aurora to protest the Trump administration.
The Shoreline protest was organized by Everyday Activists handing out water and picking up trash with assistance from Indivisible Shoreline.
